The National Environmental Recycling Company “Tadweeer” is working to contribute to the realization of the Green Saudi Initiative, which aims to shift from landfill to recycling and contribute to the circular economy in the Kingdom.

Since its inception in 2016, the company aims to contribute to the production of raw metals such as copper, aluminum and iron, and materials that contain precious metals such as gold and silver, and return them to the economy again.

Saudi Arabia is classified as one of the largest consumers of electronic and electrical devices, and produces approximately 4 million tons of electronic and electrical waste annually. In the waste recycling sector, 10 billion riyals annually.

In the past five years, Tadweeer has recycled more than 100 million kilograms of electronic and electrical waste, and by 2025 the company plans to reach an annual production capacity of 128 million kilograms.
